Rising above requires the knowledge and wisdom of seeing beyond circumstance, whether grief or sorrow, fear, guilt or shame. "Metamorphosis" is tribute to the transformation which occurs through our darkest hours and eventually produces the wings that we seek to rise above in flight, even though in the possessing of them, we often are still sleeping.
